IGX/20
BIO-SIL IGX/20 is a multi-purpose, 20% emulsion of Polydimethylsiloxane specifically formulated for the antifoaming and de-foaming of a wide range of aqueous systems. BIO-SIL IGX/20 is very effective for rapid and mild foam control.

Starting Guide.
As a processing additive: For maximum de-foaming efficiency, pre-dilute BIO-SIL IGX/20 with 3 to 5 parts before adding to the foaming system. Do not add the BIO-SIL IGX/20 to the water but rather vice versa. In processing applications as an additive, BIOSIL IGX/20 in concentrations of 10 to 500 ppm can be added.
For end use: BIO-SIL IGX/20 emulsion can be added directly from the original shipped container to the foaming system. Concentrations in the range of 0.5 to 3% have been determined as a good starting amount for liquid detergent applications.
Please Note.
- Testing before formulating should be carried out as systems vary.

The shelf life period without testing is 12 months from date of manufacture, if stored in the original unopened container at 4°C to 27°C.
Mild agitation should be carried out if stored as the nature of any emulsion is to separate without agitation over extended periods of storage.
