IGX/PWD 15
BIO-SIL IGX/PWD 15 is a free flowing powdered antifoam consisting of a silicone based antifoam compound adsorbed onto an inert carrier. Showing excellent antifoaming and de-foaming of most aqueous systems, BIO-SIL IGX/PWD 15 is specifically intended for use in powder based detergents. Also suitable for controlling foam in a range of industrial applications where foam control is required upon hydration of a powdered product. BIOSIL IGX/PWD 15 is effective at low concentrations and is fully soluble in both hot and cold water systems.

Starting Guide.
As a processing additive: For maximum de-foaming efficiency, pre-dilute BIO-SIL IGX/10 with 3 to 5 parts before adding to the foaming system. Do not add the BIO-SIL IGX/10 to the water but rather vice versa. In processing applications as an additive, BIOSIL IGX/10 in concentrations of 10 to 500 ppm can be added.
For end use: BIO-SIL IGX/10 emulsion can be added directly from the original shipped container to the foaming system. Concentrations in the range of 0.5 to 3% have been determined as a good starting amount for liquid detergent applications.
Please Note.
- Testing before formulating should be carried out as systems vary.

The shelf life period without testing is 12 months from date of manufacture, if stored in the original unopened container at 4°C to 27°C.
Mild agitation should be carried out if stored as the nature of any emulsion is to separate without agitation over extended periods of storage.
