DESCRIPTION:

A highly alkaline, caustic based powder cleaner designed for use in clean in place systems. Contains a chlorine based bleach for effective disinfection along with the cleaning action. Intended for use in the food and beverage industry for effective removal of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and blood from commonly used metal or plastic equipment and surfaces. Can be used in any application were highly alkaline cleaning is required. Low foaming and suitable for use in soft and hard water conditions.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Use at concentrations of 0.5% for most CIP applications (5g/L). For heavily soiled systems, dosage may need to be increased up to 1.5%. Heating to 50 - 60°C is recommended with circulation for at least 10mins but ambient temperatures can be used if circulation time is extended. Do not exceed 70°C. Will require a rinse with potable water following cleaning. Dilution at 5g per litre will produce approx. 210ppm of available Chlorine, requiring at least 5min contact time to kill 99.9% of micro-organisms. For use as a surface cleaner, sprinkle over the wet surface and scrub with a stiff bristle broom/brush, followed by a water rinse. For use as a liquid cleaner, dilute 5-10g per liter of water
